I lost a friend, all because i got in her way one time too many. Was it wrong? Maybe, maybe not. I know why i interfered in her affairs, because i cared, but she saw it as jealousy. I have apologised, but forgotten the deed she has not, she might have forgiven me, but i will never know. Well i remember my sister telling me something years ago "you may have experinced something and you want to prevent me from suffering the pain you went through, but how would i understand the pain if i do not experince it myself." When she first told me that, i was angry and upset with her, but today after so many years i understand what she meant. I did it with my sister, i did it with my friend, only out of concern, but this concern only distanced them from me.

I left my sister alone, i let her experince the pain she wanted to experince. And today we have become closer than ever before though our prides will never allow us to accept the fact that lies right before our eyes. My friend has distanced herself from me, and has acheived better and greater things, maybe if i had only adviced and not interfered we would still be friends today. I cannot wish for what has gone to return, but i can wish for a brighter and better life for what has gone. Wherever she is and whatever she is doing i know she is fine and she is living her dreams and i am happy for her and it gives me a sense of pride knowing that she has attained her dreams and desires. And she may consider me a person she knows, but i will always consider her a friend, someone who thought me the meaning of friendship, someone who thought me how to live my dreams. Thank you Dear Friend. :)

Well, it is not a sad story of my life, it's a lesson i learnt and i thought it good to share it with all of you. Take care for now, God Bless and Let the person you love know how much you love them before it's too late. Opprtunities come only once, stop looking at the closed door when there is an open window right next to it.

When GOD closes a door, he leaves the window open. :)

Look out for the open windows of life. :)
