Welcome in 2009

With all the darkness that surrounds us, i decided today to come back to this blog. Not to add on to the darkness, depression and bleakness but rather to shed some light to share the joy and the song in my heart, to bring you some light, some joy and maybe even a smile.

Everywhere i turn i see frowning faces, worried looks, even anger at the current turn of events on the global scale, when things go wrong we ask GOD (or whatever else you call it) "Why me?" but when things go right we never ask "Why me?" As the world ushered in the New Year, i ushered into my life a new philoshophy, no more am i going to ask "Why me?" but rather "Why thank you for choosing me." Every situation presents itself as a learning point, a moment where we get insight into ourselves, we acknowledge a part of ourselves we never knew exsisted. Try it my dear readers, it'll go a long way.

At the end of the tunnel there is always light, let us not look upon the darkness and sigh but let us look ahead with hope in our hearts and envision the light that awaits at the end of the tunnel. Listen to the music in your heart, allow not the noise of negativity drown out that beautiful sound of tomorrow, give it strength, give it intent and above all believe in that sound within you, rather than to fall prey to the world outside.

A toast to the New Year, a toast to new beginnings, a toast to the beginning of the end. :)

A short entry but very important i thought. In the meantime, feel the warmth in your hearts, do the little things that make you happy, sing a song, skip to the rhythm of your heartbeat. Life isn't all that bad. :)
